Dieting
When people want to lose weight, the first thing that comes to mind is dieting. There are many programs out there that work, but can be a little costly. Everyone cannot afford the diet plan that has a personal chef in your kitchen, cooking 3 healthy meals a day, along with the free magic blender that is included in the program. For an average person, we need something more simple and less expensive. Although it is good to have a very good program, sometimes we just have to look as far as ourselves to see where the problem lies.
When you sit down for a meal, do you eat until you feel stuffed or do eat eat just enough food and push the plate back? For many of us, we do not need the diet plan, but we simply need discipline. Discpline to not drink too much or snack at 10pm when there is nothing else to do while watching a movie. We are all guilty of “guilty-pleasures” when it comes to late night snacks. Chances are that we can substitute out a lot of junk food or heavily fat contained food that we have during to the day, but I would like to challenge even more and ask to limit your portions of food. I’ve been guilty so many times of eating too much. I’ve even eaten too much of the healthy food! Imagine that! But I am learning to discipline myself so that I can acheive my goals….one bite at a time:)
