OMG! Yes! I actually did it! It took me darn-near 3 years but I finally crossed the 1,000 view threshold with a video on YouTube! Because of that, I can now teach you how to get 1000 free youtube views on your video fast.
The coolest part is that it help me earn my first affiliate commission check while using video marketing! The first sale is always the hardest sale, and now I’m hooked. I think that I have cracked the code.

The Growing Pains
Unfortunately this took some time to get 1000 free YouTube views on one video. I mean, it literally took me 4 years to get to this point. I’ve created videos with my phones, my iTouch, iPad, and laptop. I tried my best to provide value and post the video, but nothing ever caught traction.
I’m not one to scream at the camera for 10 straight minutes (it seems like those are the people who do the best on YouTube), but I can be a little entertaining and I know that everyone doesn’t have to scream at the camera in order to have high ranking videos that make money. So what was it that finally helped me break the 1,000 view barrier?
I’m a pretty determined individual. Once I make up my mind, I’m going to do whatever it is. With this whole YouTube situation, I decided to finally stop kicking my feet in the water, and instead I dived in and got fully immersed.

I began to take it more seriously. I researched my content, I kicked up my video editing skills…which isn’t really much to offer at all, and most importantly, I got extremely serious about ranking my video. From all of my research, I learned that ranking your video with keywords is the most important part.
Have you ever made a video, did the research and posted your video, all to only have crappy results? Why does it work for everyone else but it doesn’t work for you?
To answer this question, I spent some money on a Youtube ranking course on Udemy. Udemy offers a lot of cool courses and I searched for 3 days to find the correct one. I needed something that wasn’t just going to be another beginner-video-course. I didn’t want to finish the course and say…
“that was just a waste of $10. I figured this stuff out a long time ago.”
Another Course?
I needed something that was going to bring me results if I took it seriously, and stumbled upon Christine Marisol’s course Youtube Ranking SEO.
I was excited to see her doing something on this subject because I already took an seo video course of hers prior, and it was as if she was a surgeon, going deep on everything there was having to do with onpage and offpage seo. I loved it!
After looking at her curriculum with the Youtube course, it was only natural for me to love it because it was so detailed. Moral of the story, if you are going to purchase a course, do your research on it. Luckily for me, I knew the type of value Christine brings in her courses.
After spending 2 weeks on Christine’s course, along with watching a few videos from the Youtube king Michael Kohler, I was ready to give this an earnest try. I ended coming across a trending topic to make a video on and I researched the specific keywords for it.In the back of my mind I thought…
“There is no way that this is what it takes to get 1000 free YouTube views.”
Is This Really Going To Work…For Me?
To my surprise, there wasn’t much competition for this keyword! Could this actually mean that I’m going to rank a video!? I created a nice headline, I wrote a nice description, my tags were on point, and I knew I had a decent video with good content. I mustered up the faith to post my video. After waiting for 10 sec after uploading my video, I searched for my keyword and whattayaknow…THERE WAS MY VIDEO!!!
I was in disbelief! This was my first time that my video ranked in the top 5 on the first page! I didn’t know what to do with myself! As time went on by, my video began to gain more views and my video began to move up in the rankings like clockwork. This was actually working. I put in the hard work and it began to finally pay off. I have tried so many things to only experience it fall apart. This time, things are working in my favor. What an indescribable feeling. Below is a screen shot of my video with the 2 different keywords:
A few days later, I saw my video had 100s of views. I never really got passed 100 views on my other videos before. Not even close! Now I was creeping on 300+ views. With each week going by, I would get more excited as my views went up and up. I had forgotten about the fact that I had an affiliate link in the description of my video and so I just happened to check my email only to see a notification that I had to update my address in order to receive commission checks properly.
I clicked the link to sign into Share-A-Sale, and I found a nice little surprise. Commissions from an affiliate product. Not only did I surpass 1000+ views for the first time, I also made my first affiliate sales with Youtube video marketing that month.
Not bad to cracking the code to get 1000 free YouTube views eh?
This was a lesson learned for me. I had dabbled in video marketing for a little bit. I’d upload a video here and there, but I never received real results. When I finally planned my goals and gameplan, I achieved the results as desired. I’m here to tell you that this stuff really works. IT REALLY WORKS!
Don’t get discouraged when you don’t get great results. Sometimes things may take a while and sometimes you just have to seriously apply yourself to a given method. I want to see you experience the joy of what I felt when I saw my first milestone video get 1000 free youtube views, along with affiliate purchases. Just like my girl Aaliyah said…”If at first you don’t succeed, dust yourself off and try again.”
